Like every year it is a tradition to go to the Old Town to see the Christmas decorations.
We took a long walk to see all of them. They were awesome. So many lights and colors!

Kotlety are pan-fried meatballs of minced meat. We wanted to try something different and instead of meat used only eggs (jajka). They had egg, onion and bread crumbs. We fried them with oil like regular kotlety. We accompanied it with boiled potatoes.
It was really tasty. I'm already wishing to eat them again.

Szarlotka is the Polish variety of apple pie. It is very different from the Western ones. The cake is crunchier, being covered with sugar glass. The apple is not on top, but inside of two layers of cake. It takes a bit of time to prepare but is not very complicated to prepare.
If you never tried the polish variety, you definitively should. It's very different from the Western one! I love it, it is simply delicious!

The "estofado de carne de ternera con patatas" is a typical Spanish dish. In the area of Cádiz, it is prepared a little bit spicier, so they call it "carne al toro". It is very easy to prepare, the main ingredients are: veal meat cut into cubes, potatoes, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, ketchup, spicy pepper, white wine, one bay leave, olive oil, salt and pepper.
We decided to prepare "carne al toro" this weekend. But we did it without potatoes. It was delicious and very spicy! I am sure we will prepare it very often.

We decorated the house with spider webs and jack-o-lanterns, we had special snacks and candies and we prepared a special atmosphere to celebrate Halloween.
To continue our tradition, we watched some scary movies and told scary stories. It was lots of fun... and very thrilling!

Now that we make our own pizza crust (base), we are immersed in a pizza adventure to find new delicious combinations. This time we tried pizza barbecue: chicken, red pepper, bacon, minced meat, barbecue sauce and onion.
I cannot explain with words, it is simply yummy yummy.

All varieties of ice-cream are delicious, but I have to admit that magnum make the best with chocolate. This one is my favorite, it is white chocolate with delicious strawberry cream inside... mniam mniam.

My last home-made pizza adventure is about Pizza de la Huerta.
A delicious pizza with black olives, green and red pepper, tomato, mushrooms, onion and mozzarella. A delicious combination when you want to eat a vegetable pizza.
