Papas arrugás
Papas arrugadas (arrugás) is a typical dish from Canary Islands. They are potatoes that are boiled in very salty water, without peeling. Once cooked, the water is removed and the potatoes are briefly left in the pot on the stove to dry off, until they become shriveled with a fine salt crust. Then they are spiced with Mojo verde (green) or rojo (red) that are very spicy sauces based on garlic, chili pepper and some other spices. The color depends on the color of the peppers.
We prepared papas arrugás at home. Of course, it was delicious and I loved it!!! Yummy, yummy (or mniam mniam)!!

Kokosowe Prince Polo
Look at them! Only look at them. Could somebody resist the chocolate and coconut flavor? I couldn't, so I ate them all. Soooooo yummy!

Oreo Crispy and Thin
Crispy and thin? Crispy of course is great! But thin? I would prefer mega-big, but ok, ok, I can take it.

Roof Garden of Warsaw University Library
The garden of Warsaw University Library is composed of two parts: a lower garden and an upper garden connected by a stream and a water-cascade. In the lower garden, there are a lot of interesting modern sculptures. From the upper garden, there is a beautiful view of the city. This roof garden is the largest one in Europe.
We took a long walk in this beautiful and picturesque garden. It is quite popular and recommended in many guidebooks so there was a lot of people visiting.

Syrenka Warszawska
The Mermaid of Warsaw (in polish: Syrenka Warszawska) is a symbol of Warsaw, it appears on the city's coat of arms.
There is a lot of statues of the Mermaid of Warsaw around the city. We saw one of them near the Vistula river (in Powiśle district). I would like to see them all.

Pistachio ice cream cone
It is very nice to have ice-cream in the summer. I discovered a delicious pistachio flavored ice-cream cone. It is sooooo tasty and refreshing!

Królikarnia
Królikarnia (in English, "The Rabbit House") is a historic classicist palace in Warsaw. It is in the Mokotów district. It is surrounded by a park with many sculptures, resulting in a very picturesque place.
We had a fresh lemonade while lying in the sun. There were many deck chairs. It was so comfortable.
