Garbanzos con espinacas

We prepared Chickpeas with Spinach and tomato sauce.

It is a traditional recipe from the south of Spain, Andalusia. It has very old origins, it is said to have come from Persia to Andalusia when it was called Al-Andalus. It became very popular in the XIX century for being perfect to have during Lent.
